Google sites is a web builder software that is owned by Google. In google sites, you can’t make fancy websites because google sites come with limited features and few themes. You can use google sites for your blog but in my recommendation, you have better options rather than google sites for example WordPress, Wix, and many more. Google sites is a part of google suite and google suite contains google calendar, Gmail, and google drive also. I am also sharing with you the example of google sites’s website url https://sites.google.com/view/instagramworld/ .
Yes, you can use a custom domain name on google sites’s website but by default, google sites’s website is made with an extension for example https://sites.google.com/view/instagramworld/. In this given URL “instagramworld” is my website name and all the other part of the URL will remain constant.

Both google sites and BlogSpot are Google’s products but BlogSpot has more and better features than google sites BlogSpot is mainly built for bloggers whereas google sites are mainly used for simple websites. So, we can say that BlogSpot is better than google sites.

There are many alternatives to google sites and they are as follows.
